Who we are

Sweet Reason Tasting Collective is an independent editorial site covering drinks, tasting guides, hosting, and gift ideas. Our content is written by our editorial team, including Nora Fenwick (Lead Drinks & Gifting Editor) and Owen Blake (Mixology Contributor). We are not owned by or affiliated with any spirits brand, beverage company, or retailer we write about, unless explicitly disclosed within a specific article.

How we choose what to cover

Our recipes, tasting notes, and gift recommendations reflect our own editorial judgment. We select products, drinks, and ideas based on quality, relevance to our readers, and genuine usefulness — not based on payment for inclusion. If a brand or retailer ever pays for placement, that content will be clearly labeled as sponsored (see Advertising & Sponsored Content below).

Affiliate links & how we make money

Some articles, particularly our gift guides and buying guides, contain affiliate links. If you click one of these links and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. This does not influence which products we choose to feature or how we rate them. Affiliate relationships never determine our recommendations — we write about what we’d genuinely recommend to a friend, and affiliate links are added afterward where available.

Advertising & sponsored content

If we ever publish sponsored content or a paid partnership, it will be clearly labeled as “Sponsored” or “In partnership with [Brand]” at the top of the article. Sponsored content is still held to our editorial standards for accuracy and honesty — we do not publish content we don’t believe in, regardless of payment.

Product testing & recommendations
